Elemental Threads is a socially responsible custom-made handbag business. During the holiday season we are donating a portion of our sales to select non-profit organizations. Meet one of the groups, the Alpha Gamma Delta Zeta Zeta Chapter in Worcester, MA:

“We are an international sorority; a group of loving girls who we call sisters. We do many philanthropic events through the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Leadership Institute and several scholarships.  We participate in local community service as well.   We have been renting a house for the last few years, but we think it’s time to own our house now! We want a place we can completely customize to fit our needs and design ideas. We are raising money towards our new Alpha Gamma Delta Home!  Our mission is to buy a new house, in addition to raising money for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation.”

Group: Lesley University Environmental Club

The Environmental Club at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, was started in 2006 when students wanted an organized way to encourage the campus and community to become more aware and active in our growing environmental issues. In the past they have held many events to reach these goals, including a Benefit Coffeehouse that raised over $400 to protect rainforest in Rewa, a small village in Guyana, South America that a group of Lesley students visited for an ecology course. They are a fairly new, small club with big goals. Through a purchase from Elemental Threads, you will be helping the club in their mission from raising awareness on campus to exploring programs in the larger national community, which often require travel and registration expenses.  The Lesley Environmental Group thanks you for supporting the student group and socially responsible companies, like Elemental Threads.
